Giolì & Assia is an Italian duo formed by Giorgia Giolì Lipari and Assia Nania. Their work joins electronic production, songwriting, vocals and instrumental performance, drawing on house, techno and pop. The handpan is one of the live instruments that gives their performances a recognisable physical presence alongside electronic sound. Their Diesis Live series places those performances in distinctive outdoor settings: the official archive includes the temples of Selinunte and Segesta in Sicily, the Aeolian island of Vulcano and an Icelandic black-sand beach. These filmed sessions connect music with landscape while presenting their interplay as performers. Their recordings include Istantanee, Night Experience and Fire Hell and Holy Water, followed by the Resurrection releases. The duo’s practice spans the stage, the studio and DJ performance, bringing songs and instrumental passages into a shared electronic framework.
