Inqiteka

Inqiteka brings together Maël Chauvet and Ludovic Winkler, combining handpan, didgeridoo, scratch and electronic production.

Inqiteka, also written InQi-TeKa, is the collaboration of Maël Chauvet and Ludovic Winkler. The group’s own SoundCloud profile places it in Neuchâtel and Geneva, Switzerland. Chauvet contributes handpan, scratch and production, while Winkler plays didgeridoo. Their music connects acoustic instruments with downtempo and trip-hop. Winkler’s portfolio documents the group’s activity from 2014 to 2017, with more than sixty concerts in Switzerland and a tour in France. Their eleven-track album Inqi-Teka was released on 7 June 2016. Alongside Chauvet’s compositions and Winkler’s arrangements, its credits include Myrdhin on harp and Mattic on vocals. Their published improvisations also explore the Gubal and Shakti handpan.
