Lewa

Lewa is a Spanish handpan performer whose music brings together original compositions, classical adaptations and vocal arrangements.

Her recordings range from Erik Satie’s Gnossienne No. 1 and Schubert’s Ave Maria to Hijo de la Luna, Hallelujah and her own pieces Hidden and A Solas. Collaboration is an important part of the project: the channel features Miguel Hiroshi and Luis Iglesias, while the SingaDing festival programme describes her use of voice and synthesizers alongside handpan. D Ecstasy contains six tracks and is classified as an EP by both Apple Music and Deezer. Her participation in Sergio de la Puente’s score for La Pecera is documented by the composer, adding film music to her concert and recording work.
