Israeli-born handpan composer and performer whose melodic solo work meets guitar, guzheng and international ensembles across recordings and live projects.

Liron Man is an Israeli-born composer and handpan player who took up the instrument in 2006. His solo approach combines bass, rhythm and melody, drawing on varied musical traditions rather than a single stylistic model. Collaboration is another thread of his work. With seven-string guitarist Rocco Papia, he formed a duo whose repertoire includes original compositions and arrangements from Israeli, Italian and flamenco traditions. His recording catalogue offers several ways into these exchanges: Solo Con Ellos, released in 2013, includes India, Desert Song and Rakitam, while Live in Beijing documents his partnership with guitarist Simone Mor. Children Of The World (Live), with Lucy Luan, brings handpan and guzheng together in a programme that includes Sakura, India and a Marley medley. Alongside these ensemble recordings, his solo performances keep the handpan at the centre of the musical narrative. These projects connect composition, instrumental dialogue and the experience of live performance.
