Panlix

Panlix is a Berlin-based handpan performer, composer and teacher whose work brings together original recordings, live events and tuition.

Panlix began playing the drum kit as a teenager, often supporting other musicians through rhythm. Discovering the handpan opened a different path: combining percussion, harmony and melody in an instrument he could play on his own. He composes and publishes original pieces, including Shifting Perspectives, A New Chapter and Waves of Harmony, and performs at concerts, weddings and other events. Based in Berlin, he teaches beginners and experienced players near Treptower Park and also offers online lessons. His teaching spans touch and striking techniques, chord structures, melodies, percussive elements, composition and an introduction to music theory. Small-group introductory workshops provide instruments for participants without their own handpan and establish basic playing patterns. He also offers guidance on choosing an instrument, connecting first encounters with the handpan to a longer learning practice.
