Pioneering handpan duo blending acoustic steel, electronic production and hypnotic grooves into an internationally recognised live and recording project.

Hang Massive is the duo of Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat, who met in Goa and developed a shared musical language around the Hang and handpan. Their 2011 video “Once Again” became an early global reference point for the instrument, helping move handpan music from street performance and small gatherings toward a much wider online and concert audience. The project later expanded beyond acoustic duet playing into live electronics, bass-heavy production, visual performance and meditative themes. Their music balances repeating melodic figures, spacious sustain and dance-oriented pulse, while retaining the intimate call-and-response quality of two players seated around tuned steel. Across albums, touring and audiovisual projects, Hang Massive has remained one of the clearest examples of handpan music functioning simultaneously as contemplative listening, electronic crossover and large-stage performance.
